Terms of Service
ShopMention is operated by Liljestrand Consulting AB, org. no. 559464-4378, Sweden ("we", "us"). By using shopmention.com, purchasing a report, or installing our Shopify app, you agree to these terms.
1. The service — and what it is not
ShopMention produces informational reports about how AI assistants (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity) respond to shopping-related questions relevant to your store, at the time we run them. The service is analysis and measurement. It is not marketing, SEO, legal, or financial advice, and it is not a promise of any commercial outcome.
2. No guarantee of results
- AI answers vary. The same question can produce different answers between runs, models, days, and users. Our reports are snapshots based on documented sampling — not a permanent record of what any AI "says".
- We do not control AI systems. We cannot guarantee that your brand will appear in, improve in, or ever be included in any AI assistant's answers — including if you follow every recommendation in a report.
- Recommendations are suggestions. Fix lists describe factors commonly associated with AI visibility. Acting on them is your decision and your responsibility, and outcomes depend on factors outside our control.
3. Business customers only
The service is offered to businesses, not consumers. By purchasing you confirm you act in the course of a business.
4. Fair use
Reports are for your internal business use and for sharing within your organisation. Don't resell reports, misrepresent them as endorsements by us or by any AI provider, or use the service to analyse a brand you have no legitimate interest in.
5. Third parties
ShopMention is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity, Shopify, or any AI provider. Their names and marks belong to their owners. Our service depends on their APIs; if a provider changes or restricts access, affected features may change with reasonable substitution or, where impossible, a pro-rata refund of prepaid fees.
6. Refunds
One-time audits: if you're not satisfied, email us within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. Subscriptions: cancel anytime; paid periods already started are not refunded. Shopify app subscriptions follow Shopify's billing flow.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, lost revenue, or business decisions made in reliance on a report. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid us during the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing here limits liability for gross negligence or intent.
8. The usual
We may update the service and these terms; material changes are announced on this page. If a clause is found invalid, the rest stand. These terms are governed by Swedish law, with disputes settled by Swedish courts.
